International Ms Leather and International Ms Bootblack 2026 ran April 23-26 at Holiday Inn Piscataway-Somerset, 21 Kingsbridge Road, Piscataway, New Jersey. Official home copy congratulates 2026 International Ms Bootblack Astrid, International Ms Leather Akasha Eden, and Heart and Soul winner Meredith. Eventbrite sales have ended and the listing says see you in 2027. No 2027 dates or hotel are posted on imslbb.com yet.
IMsLBB is a BIPOC-owned small business (Generation 5) that frames the weekend as a community space for leather folks, with the two international titles at the center. Who We Are copy says Gen 5 is committed to prioritizing the most marginalized among us. The official history traces International Ms Leather to 1987.
This was a complete hotel takeover. The official hotel page says the property was closed to the public: attendees and hotel staff only. Food deliveries had to be met outside. Street-legal clothing was required when leaving the building, going to vehicles, or crossing the parking lot. The host hotel sold out. A waitlist existed for registered attendees. Photo policy mentions the pool, courtyard, and outdoor smoking tent. Vendors sat next to the ballroom.
Both title contests use Olympic scoring plus a community vote, 1650 points max. Contestants have been investigated and vetted since 2023. The weekend ran hybrid: on-site attendees also got virtual access. Official How To copy says all education lived on Zoom and contest activities were livestreamed or pre-recorded, with a 2026 Attendee badge required for access. Site groups include ASL/Deaf/HOH, Para-Abled or Neurodivergent Community, BIPOC BADDIES, Trans Women Meetup, and 35 and Under.
Red lanyards at registration and a red bracelet in the registration bag marked no photos. No non-IMsLBB phone photography in public spaces outside the lobby or ballroom. Contest stage photos and the lobby Step and Go backdrop were encouraged.
