Overview

A guided practice in giving and receiving touch and affirmation

Full Circle is a small-group practice built around a basic human need: to be touched and told you're okay, while being in a space that is built specifically to provide it safely. This guided practice aims to center you with grounding or guided touch (your choice), to give affirmations, to breathe deeply and gently, and to receive words you may not have heard in a while.

Everyone gets a turn receiving focused, freely offered touch, and affirmations from the group, and everyone gets a turn giving the same to the full circle. This practice is about presence, generosity, and being seen as you are. The practice focuses on personal boundaries, genuine consent, and clear communication.

What to expect: 2 hours, up to 7 participants, minimum of 3 participants to run. Come showered and in comfortable clothes. Hand sanitizer is provided between rounds and unscented lotion will be on hand for touch requests. No phones, no photography, no recording.

This class involves touch, verbal affirmation, and sharing personal boundaries in front of a small group. Some participants find this format brings up unexpected emotion. BOINK's traffic light system applies throughout, and facilitator support is available before, during, and after the session.

About the Facilitator:

Hope is a consent educator and facilitator who runs in-person workshops that teach consent as well as provides a safe place to receive affirmation and consent based touch. Before this work, she spent years as a project manager and research scientist. That background still shows up in how she operates her workshops and classes: clear structure, plain language, and you'll know exactly what to expect.

She created "Only Yes Means Yes: consent and cuddle pile" which pairs consent education with facilitated group touch. She also facilitates "Full Circle–a guided practice", which facilitates a small-group class in which each participant takes a turn as the sole focus of the group's care. Both workshops draw from the same foundations: enthusiastic and genuine consent, clear boundaries, and a traffic light system for pacing.

Hope shows up curious and direct. She feels more grounded outside than anywhere else. She asks a lot of questions to find clarity and searches for different perspectives. She believes in using plain language and enough directness to be useful.

Hope teaches without judgment and you are always welcome to her classes exactly as you are.
