Dark Odyssey Surrender 2026

Dark Odyssey Surrender is a hotel convention in San Jose, October 23 to 26, 2026, Friday afternoon through Monday morning. The 2026 theme on the public page is Villains. Registration is open at darkodyssey.com/surrender/registration.

The registration fee covers classes, workshops, special events, parties, and play spaces. It does not include a hotel room or food. You do not have to stay at the hotel. The page describes a scene-friendly hotel in San Jose near the airport and does not print the hotel name. Double queen and king rooms are $180 per night plus taxes. Reservations are made with the hotel from the link in the confirmation email, not on the Dark Odyssey invoice. Cancel a room by October 5 to avoid the first-night charge. Parking is $15 per day. Day visitors do not get in-and-out. Hotel guests get in-and-out at the same rate.

Weekend pass rates, per person: early through September 18, $275 participating group and $285 standard. Tier 2 through September 28: $290 and $300. Tier 3 through October 8: $305 and $315. Tier 4 after October 8: $320 and $330. The last day to cancel or transfer is October 1, 2026. No refunds after that date. The handling fee is $50 per person. Write registrar@darkodyssey.com.

The event page lists more than 30 educators, more than 80 workshops, 40,000 square feet of equipped dungeons, a Sex-O-Rama play space, and parties until 2:00 a.m. The registration page says Dark Odyssey is using all 50,000 square feet of the hotel's ballroom and meeting space. Arrival requires a rapid antigen home test, which you bring yourself, and a mask at registration until a negative result.
