Dark Odyssey Summer Camp

Dark Odyssey Summer Camp 2026 ran September 1 to 7 at Camp Ramblewood in Northern Maryland. The public page calls the theme Close Encounters. This is the Maryland camp, not Camp Thornwood in California.

The weekend entrance fee covers Friday, September 4 through Monday, September 7, and includes tenting. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are extra days at $90 per person per day. Cabin beds were $195 for Friday to Monday and were listed sold out. Extra cabin nights were $70. The weekend meal plan was $185 and covers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Monday brunch, with a vegan option, a gluten-free option, and a salad bar. Extra-day meals were $60 per day. RV parking was $500 and listed sold out. General parking was $30. Trailers add $20, cash only, collected on site.

Registration rates were per person. Early rate through July 27: $290 participating group, $300 standard. Standard rate through August 3: $305 and $315. Late rate through August 10: $320 and $330. Last minute: $335 and $345. A resort option to skip the 4 hours of camp chores was $75. The site said the event sold out at more than 1,300 people, with no last-minute tickets or transfers.

The page lists workshops, indoor and outdoor play spaces, vendors, and special events including the Wasteland Party, Primal Fires, a cigar and boot social, and a Kinky State Faire. Arrival required a rapid antigen home test, and a mask at registration until a negative result. Cancel and transfer requests had to be written to registrar@darkodyssey.com by August 10, 2026. The handling fee was $75 per person.
